Particulars of Guide (Form Part-B)

Each guide may forward the application of only one student each year for the STSH program.

Enclosures/Attachments (Form Part-C)

Each STSH application and research proposal must be submitted along with a duly filled and attested Application Attestation Form (AAF). A passport-size photograph should be pasted on the form. Subsequently, the form must be signed by the Guide, attested, and forwarded by the Head of the Department and the Head of the Institution/Principal/Dean of the Medical College, with the stamp/seal of the institution. Once all signatures and attestations are obtained, the student must scan the form and save it as a PDF file. This PDF file must be uploaded at the time of submission.

Only one application per student is permitted, and additional proposals will be automatically rejected. Other documents such as ethics committee approval, informed consent form, case study form, and study questionnaire may be submitted at the time of application or later before the commencement of the study or along with the final report are acceptable.

The proposal should include sections for Title (up to 25 words), Introduction (up to 300 words), Objectives (up to 100 words), Methodology (up to 800 words), Implications(up to 100 words), and References (up to 300 words). It should describe a brief work plan of the proposed research, including an introduction, objectives, methodology with sample size and appropriate statistical methodology, implications of the research study, and references. The proposal should not contain any identifying information of the student or guide for unbiased review by reviewers. Enclosures may be scanned and saved as PDF files for submission, ensuring the file size does not exceed 1 MB each.

• Research proposals involving human participants or animals require clearance from the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) or Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) respectively.

• The Council will offer a total scholarship amounting to Rs. 25,000/- (twenty-five thousand only) to the candidates who are selected for the program.
